Battery Wireless Cell
# Battery Wireless Cell __NOTOC__ ## Description The battery cells are used in many items and tools. They appear to be interchangeable, though the small cells will deplete rapidly in certain items, such as a suit or portable AC. The wireless cells receive power wirelessly from the [Power Transmitter Omni](/wiki/power-transmitter-omni) located nearby. ### Battery Wireless Cell ## Battery Wireless Cell :::infobox | Property | Value | |----------|-------| | Stacks | 1 | | Prefab Hash | -462415758 | | Prefab Name | Battery_Wireless_cell | | Slot Class | SlotClass.Battery | | Sorting Class | SortingClass.Default | | Recipe Machine | Electronics Printer | | Recipe Cost | 2g [Iron](/wiki/iron), 2g [Gold](/wiki/gold), 10g [Copper](/wiki/copper) |  ::: - You can make small cells without steel. - They have a power capacity of 12,000J (3,33 Wh) (approx. observed). ### Battery Wireless Cell (Big) ## Battery Wireless Cell (Big) :::infobox | Property | Value | |----------|-------| | Stacks | 1 | | Prefab Hash | -41519077 | | Prefab Name | Battery_Wireless_cell_Big | | Slot Class | SlotClass.Battery | | Sorting Class | SortingClass.Default | | Recipe Machine | Electronics Printer | | Recipe Cost | 5g [Gold](/wiki/gold), 15g [Copper](/wiki/copper), 5g [Steel](/wiki/steel) |  ::: - Big cells require steel. - They have a capacity of 72,000J (20 Wh) (approx. observed). ### Battery Wireless Cell (Extra Large) ## Battery Wireless Cell (Extra Large) :::infobox | Property | Value | |----------|-------| | Stacks | 1 | | Prefab Hash | -504717121 | | Prefab Name | ItemWirelessBatteryCellExtraLarge | | Slot Class | SlotClass.Battery | | Sorting Class | SortingClass.Default |  ::: - Extra Large cells are available in creative only. - They have a capacity of 144,000J (40 Wh) (approx. observed). ## Energy calculations - **1 Wh in game = 0.5 Wh in real time** - The game circuit tick lasts 500 milliseconds, so the real energy stored in the battery is half the energy mentioned above. ## See Also - [Battery Cell](/wiki/battery-cell) - [Battery Charger](/wiki/battery-charger) - [Battery Charger Small](/wiki/battery-charger-small)
