Circuitboard (Airlock)
## Circuitboard (Airlock) :::infobox | Property | Value | |----------|-------| | Stacks | No | | Created With | [Electronics Printer](/wiki/electronics-printer), [Fabricator](/wiki/fabricator) | ::: ## Description > *"Rumored to have been first sketched on a [Norsec](/wiki/norsec) toilet wall by a disgruntled engineer, the Exgress airlock control circuit board’s versatility and ease of fabrication has made it the [Stationeers](/wiki/stationeers) control system of choice for [Airlock](/wiki/airlock) cycling protocols. To enter setup mode, insert the board into a [Console](/wiki/console) along with a data disk. In this mode, you can see all data-accessible objects currently connected to the [Console](/wiki/console). Doors, lights, gas sensors and slave consoles can be selected (highlighted green), and will be controlled once the data disk is removed."* > — Stationpedia A Circuitboard (Airlock) can be used to automate the operation of an airlock separating a pressurized enviroment from a (near) vacuum. [Guide (Airlock) Atmosphere to Vacuum](/wiki/guide-airlock-atmosphere-to-vacuum) provides additional information regarding the function, construction, and operation of airlock using a Circuitboard (Airlock). A [Circuitboard (Advanced Airlock)](/wiki/circuitboard-advanced-airlock) might serve as a suitable substitution, offering support for two pressurized atmospheres and [Console Slave](/wiki/console-slave)s, but requires a more complex construction. ## Characteristics - Its settings will refer to the pressurized environment as "interior" and the vacuum environment as "exterior". - Its pressurization phase will stall if there is not enough gas available to the selected [Active Vent](/wiki/active-vent)s to reach the set 101 Pa. - Its depressurization phase will stall if a complete vacuum cannot be achieved within the [Large Grid Volume](/wiki/large-grid-atmosphere)s in which all selected [Gas Sensor](/wiki/gas-sensor)s reside. - When powered, all selected [Portal](/wiki/portal)s and Active Vents will be locked, preventing their manual use even when power is subsequently denied. - Supports multiple "interior" [Active Vent](/wiki/active-vent)s - Supports multiple [Gas Sensor](/wiki/gas-sensor)s - Supports additional [Console Slave](/wiki/console-slave)s - Shiv with a screwdriver to reset values ## Console Slave Additional control [Console](/wiki/console)s are useful when airlocks become large or remote control is desired. A Circuitboard (Airlock) can support one or more additional enslaved consoles where the "master" and all "enslaved" Consoles will sync their action and state with each other. Only one master console can be used to enslave other Circuitboard (Airlock) equipped consoles residing on the same [Wire Network](/wiki/wire-network). See [Guide (Airlock) Atmosphere to Atmosphere](/wiki/guide-airlock-atmosphere-to-atmosphere#console-slaves) for information regarding the construction of Console Slave. ## User Interface A powered [Console](/wiki/console) equipped with a Circuitboard (Airlock) and will display the following user interface: | Name || Type | Function | |---|---| | Cancel Depressurize | Console button | | Cancel Pressurize | Console button | | Emergency Override | Console button | | Cycle to Exterior | Console button | | Cycle to Interior | Console button | ## Settings A powered [Console](/wiki/console) equipped with a Circuitboard (Airlock) and an inserted [Data Disk](/wiki/data-disk) will display the following settings: | Name || Description | |---| | «[Portal](/wiki/portal)» EXTERNAL | | «Portal» INTERNAL | | «[Active Vent](/wiki/active-vent)» VENT | | «[Gas Sensor](/wiki/gas-sensor)» SENSOR | | «[Light](/wiki/light)» LIGHT | ## Manufacture Circuitboard (Advanced Airlock)'s are manufactured using: | Manufacturer | Requirements | |---|---| | [Electronics Printer](/wiki/electronics-printer) | #J [Power](/wiki/power), #g [Ore 1](/wiki/ore-1), #g [Ore 2](/wiki/ore-2) | | [Fabricator](/wiki/fabricator) | #J [Power](/wiki/power), #g [Ore 1](/wiki/ore-1),##g [Ore 2](/wiki/ore-2) | ## Recycling Circuitboard (Airlock)'s can be recycled using a [Recycler](/wiki/recycler) in conjunction with a [Centrifuge](/wiki/centrifuge) to yield #g [Ore 1](/wiki/ore-1) and #g [Ore 2](/wiki/ore-2) ## Destruction Circuitboard (Advanced Airlock)'s can be destroyed using a [Arc Furnace](/wiki/arc-furnace), a [Furnace](/wiki/furnace) or with multiple shots from a [Weapon](/wiki/weapon) ## See Also - [Guide (Airlock)](/wiki/guide-airlock) - [Circuitboard (Advanced Airlock)](/wiki/circuitboard-advanced-airlock) - [Kit (Airlock)](/wiki/kit-airlock)
