## Description

The Mining Drill is one of the [tools you start with](/wiki/starting-gear). Used to mine and requires a [battery](/wiki/battery-cell) to operate.
- Right Click (Default button) to turn on and off.
- Press R (Default button) to cycle through menu, scroll to go through menu, and F (Default button) to select.
The MK II version, is resistant to high temperatures, thus really only being useful in hot atmospheres such as [Vulcan](/wiki/worlds#vulcan) and [Venus](/wiki/worlds#venus).
