## Motherboard (IC Editor) :::infobox | Property | Value | |----------|-------| | Created With | [Electronics Printer](/wiki/electronics-printer), [Fabricator](/wiki/fabricator) | | Cost | 5g [Copper](/wiki/copper), 5g [Gold](/wiki/gold) | ::: The [Motherboard (IC Editor)](/wiki/motherboard-ic-editor) is a [Motherboard](/wiki/motherboard) that can be placed in the front hatch of a [Computer](/wiki/computer) or in a [Laptop](/wiki/laptop). This allows the user to save, load, and edit scripts for [Integrated Circuits](/wiki/integrated-circuit-ic10). The scripts saved in player library are preserved between worlds and game sessions. If the logic output of the computer is connected to a network containing an [IC Housing](/wiki/kit-ic-housing-ic-housing) with an [Integrated Circuit](/wiki/integrated-circuit-ic10) installed, then the computer may also import code from the circuit or export code to it. The circuits are programmed in the [IC10](/wiki/ic10) language; the stationeers website provides a working simulator [https://stationeering.com/tools/ic](https://stationeering.com/tools/ic) with some instructions to get new users started.
