## Description

Permits gasses to go through when connected to a pipe network. Typically used as a smaller alternative to a [Passive Vent](/wiki/passive-vent). But beware that the Pipe Cowl has a significantly smaller throughput than the Passive Vent. So if you want to vent gas as quickly as possible the Passive Vent is the better choice.
