## Description

Sensor Processing Units are used in [Sensor Lenses](/wiki/sensor-lenses). Their functionality changes depending on the cartridge.

## Ore Scanner

When you turn on the Sensor Lenses, it creates an overlay in your view showing the location of ore nodules. Ores are colour-coded and labeled with their chemical symbol.
The ore scanner for the sensor lenses is far superior to the tablet version.

## Celestial Scanner

Shows the locations of celestial bodies including planets and moons orbiting the planet you are on, e.g. Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Phobos, Deimos etc.

## T-Ray Scanner

Shows a colour-coded overlay of all nearby pipes and cables.
