Obtaining

Ore (Copper) is a common ore that can be mined throughout the surface and underground of a planet or an asteroid using a Mining Drill or Pickaxe. It can also be obtained by processing dirty ore from a Deep Miner using a Centrifuge or Combustion Centrifuge.

Processing

Copper ore can be turned into copper ingots by smelting it in an Arc Furnace, Furnace, or Advanced Furnace. Copper is also an ingredient in Constantan and Astroloy.

Smelting in an Arc Furnace requires 500 Energy. Using a Furnace or Advanced Furnace requires the following conditions:

Smelting one copper ore produces the following gases:
