Ore (Iron)

Obtaining

Ore (Iron) is a common ore that can be mined throughout the surface and underground of a planet or an asteroid using a Mining Drill or Pickaxe. It can also be obtained by processing dirty ore from a Deep Miner using a Centrifuge or Combustion Centrifuge. Iron Ore is the most basic, and most used, ore type in Stationeers.

Processing

Iron ore can be turned into an iron ingot by smelting it in an Arc Furnace, Furnace, or Advanced Furnace. Iron is also an ingredient of Steel, Solder, and Invar.

Smelting in an Arc Furnace requires 200 Energy. Using a Furnace or Advanced Furnace requires the following conditions:
